Low Angle Photography
Low angle photos can add pop to your images, sometimes making the difference between boring and interesting. Good photographers approach a subject from different angles until they get what they want!
Shot the model in studio then went around Toronto looking for stairways. Tried to make sure to shoot both from a low angle to match perspectives. I’m lying on the ground so she looks like she’s jumping higher! The rocks frame the foreground and add interest to an otherwise plain-looking beach. Here, the low angle helps to frame the couple against a white sky and backlight them. I have sold this print more then once – this was in the middle of New York city but the low angle hides all the stuff around it There were too many tourists around the lighthouse to get a good shot, so I hid them behind some tall grass I found. A low angle helps add interest to this tiny house! The low angle helps the model look more intimidating.
